“Sex and Sensibility” — We Can’t Get Enough!

Donnelly 1 - Feminine qualities

Over 30 people came to Hammertown Barn in Pine Plains on Friday evening (June 6th) for a wine & cheese reception, book signing and to hear New Yorker cartoonist, Liza Donnelly, talk about her new book, “Sex and Sensibility”.

We had such a good time with Liza at this (our first) Hammertown After Hours” event we just had to do something else with her.

Thankfully, she has agreed to let us post some of her favorite cartoons on our website and we couldn’t be more delighted! We’ll be posting a different cartoon every week or so, so make sure you check our website to see each new “installment”.

Liza Donnelly has been a cartoonist for over twenty years. A contract cartoonist with the New Yorker, her work has also appeared in the New York Times, National Lampoon, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and other publications. She teaches courses on Cartoons in American Culture and Women and Humor at Vassar College. To find out more about Liza Donnelly, you can visit her website: www.lizadonnelly.com

In the meantime….we invite you to enjoy the humor and insights of Liza Donnelly right here on our Hammertown website. Or, come into the Pine Plains store and purchase your very own SIGNED COPY of “Sex and Sensibility”!!
