Shop Late Night in Millerton – Saturday, July 19th

Shops open until 7:00 PM

Little Gates Wine Merchants, Harney Tea Company, Gilmor Glass and 7 Dutchess are hosting the evening shopping event. Participating stores will be open until seven and serving wine and hors deurves.

Oblong Books (the best independent book store), BW Eagles Eye, Kate Cardy, Pringle and Zimring, and other stores will be open late.   It’s a wonderful town to explore…Millerton has been voted one of the best little towns in America!!

Hammertown also has an announcement! Hammertown often writes about other businesses and truly believes “like” businesses that compliment each other, have similar integrity and purpose, should work together. We only help each other and encourage the local population to shop local, eat local, drive local and spend local. It makes the towns that we live in better and stronger. We would like to announce Hammertown and Parlour (the wonderful clothing store in Millerton, next to Harney’s) have formed a partnership together and created a new business: 7 DUTCHESS — Hammertown and Parlour Dressing Life Together. The clothing and the home will join together to create a stimulating and creative environment. It will be a new point of view for Hammertown…taking the lead from the stylish and classical clothing and shoes Mimi Harney has chosen. We’re still in our infancy stages…morphing and developing and creating our sole, but come visit.  Our address is, you guessed it…7 Dutchess Street (right off of Main St. across from the Movie House next to Herrington’s)

There is clothing, shoes and home style….with much more arriving each week. We just opened last Saturday and the response has been wonderful!
