Last night I attended a goodbye party for our lovely Hammertown coworker Elizabeth Johnson. She’s a women’s confidence coach and an amazing individual with interests ranging from women’s studies to animal rights to a love of vintage clothes. Follow the link to her website to read some of her own work. Her favorite color is pink, so I had excuse to try baking something resembling petit fours.
In general, people stay in jobs because they are challenged, encouraged and empowered. I am no exception. I loved my work at Hammertown, especially (as Joan and Rhonda know well) any dealings with the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams furniture. But I can’t say enough about the women of Hammertown and the one fabulous guy (you know who you are!). They are the most amazing, supportive, generous co-workers that one could ever ask for. I miss all of those fabulous gals very much but I know they will all visit me. Just not all at once
