“The Traveling Nature Photographer” Steve Morello

Join us at Hammertown Barn on Friday, November 28th from 4:00 – 6:00 for this Book Signing and Reception for wildlife & nature photographer, Steve Morello.

Steve has been photographing wildlife for more than 25 years.  His photographs have appeared in National Geographic Magazine, National Geographic Books, National Geographic World Magazine, The New York Times, Martha Stewart Living and Outdoor Photographer to name just a few.

In 1995 he co-founded Natural Habitat Adventures where, as the Field Director, he guided wildlife tours around the world until 2004 when he once again branched out to begin his own wildlife adventure company, Green Planet Expeditions.

During his career Steve has guided for many prestigious organizations such as American Museum of Natural History, the Smithsonian Institution and the World Wildlife Fund.

Whether it is the savannas of Africa, the vast expanse of both polar regions, or exploring the wonders of the Americas, Steve is well-traveled throughout most of the world.

The Traveling Nature Photographer, not only features Steve’s amazing photographs, Steve shares his expertise in teaching you, the reader, how to take incredible photographs too.  His instruction is detailed yet easy to understand.  It is a must have for any amateur or aspiring professional nature photographer.

On a personal note, I feel honored to have actually traveled with Steve and I highly recommend his book as well as his tours.  In fact, I call him the “Mario Batali of wildlife photography”.  So visit Hammertown Barn in Pine Plains.  Meet Steve, view his photographs and purchase a signed copy of his book.
