Saturday, December 13th at Hammertown Rhinebeck from 3:30-5:30
This past summer we welcomed Nancy Bauch, nature enthusiast and brilliant potter from Cold Spring, NY, to our gallery space. Her work so inspired us that we asked if she would curate our holiday window displays. She agreed and the result is a wonderful tribute to the mingling worlds of nature and fantasy…a calming, ethereal and magical celebration of the season to come.
For me, Nancy’s pottery has always evoked the wonders of the winter months. The white glazing, natural shapes and general warmth that her pieces evoke, make me want to hole up next to a warm fire with my hands wrapped around a White Forest hot cocoa mug. With that sentiment in mind, Nancy and I hatched a plan to host a cocoa and cupcake event in Rhinebeck.
What could be more fun than spending a Saturday afternoon sipping cocoa and eating cupcakes? So please come join us on Saturday, December 13th from 3-5:00. Sample delicious Vervacious artisan hot cocoa (for sale at Hammertown as well), view the White Forest window displays and perhaps purchase the perfect White Forest gift set for your holiday list (we will be featuring a selection of Nancy’s work which can be seen in full at whiteforestpottery.com). Just as no two snowflakes are alike, each piece of White Forest Pottery is unique.
Please come visit Hammertown Rhinebeck anytime to view the fantasy-inspired windows decorated with with Nancy’s pottery creations, sculptural branches and found objects, all, in Nancy’s words, “blessed with fairy dust”.
We also have an edited collection of Nancy’s pottery gift sets for sale. These beautifully-boxed sets include cocoa mugs, forest bells, 3 bowl sets and more. You can preview her collection or buy direct at whiteforestpottery.com.
