Oh, What a Time We Had!
Almost 100 people joined us at Hammertown Barn on Saturday evening (March 28th) to hear William Cohan talk about his new best-selling book, House of Cards (now #2 on the NY Times bestseller list!)
In addition to signing many copies of his book, Bill talked at length about the events on Wall Street…specifically 10 days in March 2008 at Bear Sterns…that led to the collapse of so many financial entities. The way he told it (clearly and with some very amusing impressions of Bear Sterns’ CEO) truly put you right there in the moment it all happened.
After sharing his experiences in writing the book, Bill took numerous questions from the audience. Clearly, the subject matter is of great interest to many people so it was a real thrill to have someone with Bill’s “inside” knowledge of the facts sharing it with us.
