A June Wedding at Maple Hill Farm

We want to offer our love and congratulations to our “Maple Hill Farm”  guest bloggers,  Sage Lehman and Chris Ronis. vows

Even though the house is still being renovated, Maple Hill Farm provided the perfect backdrop for their wedding on a perfectly glorious Saturday afternoon.

It was a small wedding with immediate family and close friends but being the fine and dedicated bloggers they are, Chris and Sage are sharing some beautiful photographs of their special day at Maple Hill Farm.

The celebratory wedding weekend began with a Friday night dinner gathering at Mercato.   (We’ll let you know what the menu was when Sage and Chris get back from their honeymoon in Montreal!)   On Saturday, family arrived at the farm at 5:00.   The small country wedding was catered by the Farmer’s Wife in Ancramdale, and styled by Mother Nature (i.e., the beauty of Maple Hill Farm).  What could be more special?

These photographs reveal the beauty of a small, celebratory wedding.   I definitely feel a trend here in the Hudson Valley to more intimate weddings with natural settings, local bounty, and a heightened awareness of simplicity.  Like the wedding party I hosted at Roundfield Farm for our blogtress Auntie M…simple is better.  And, regardless of the economic times, it just makes SENSE!  (email: joan@hammertown.com about Roundfield for weddings)

CONGRATULATIONS, SAGE & CHRIS!!  We’re looking forward to more photographs and details of the wedding when you return home…to Maple Hill Farm.
