Stissing House Game Dinner with Chef Ariane Daguin – THIS SATURDAY

ADJuggling3eggsStissing House will be hosting a special Game Dinner this month.  Ariane Daguin, celebrated chef/owner of d’Artagnan, the famous specialty meat and game purveyor, will be cooking a delicious game dinner with Stissing House Chef & Owner, Michel Jean.

The Menu:

1st course an amuses of smoked duck breast, wild boar prosciutto and game paté
2nd course of Foie Gras Terrine au Truffes
3rd course of Chestnut Soup with Pheasant á la Dutournier
4th Course of Venison Daube with Wild Mushrooms and Armagnac served with Basque style polenta with truffles and mountain sheep cheese
5th course Salade de saison
6th Dessert Soufflée Glacé with Pruneuax d’Agen and Armagnac
Six courses for $65.  Beverages, Gratuities and Taxes not included.

In addition to running D’Artagnan, developing new products and researching innovative and ecologically responsible methods of production, Ariane is founding president of Les Nouvelles Mères Cuisinières, an international association of prestigious women chefs.  She is also active in a number of other organizations.  In 2005, Ariane received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from Bon Appetit Magazine, and in September 2006, she was awarded the French Legion d’Honneur.
