Please join me in welcoming Diane Meier to our Hammertown Rhinebeck store to celebrate the publication of her wonderful debut novel.

I am so excited that Hammertown is hosting this event in our Rhinebeck store. Diane’s novel, “The Season of Second Chances” resonates with me on so many levels. The many changes and possibilities that occur in a woman’s life and the very important part house and home plays in our soul’s search for contentment and happiness. This story of a woman renovating her life and her house at an age when she thought she’d already accomplished it all, is funny, smart and inspiring with compelling feminist characters, and wonderful design details about the making of a house into a home. You’ll even find decorating tips on many of the book’s pages.

There is a strong local connection as well: Diane has been a long time, loyal Hammertown customer so it seemed natural that Hammertown would host this mimosa and local cheese party to introduce her and her book to our entire Hammertown community.

You’ll absolutely love the book and will really enjoy meeting Diane!
