A few weeks ago we announced we would be featuring some of our Hammertown Choices over the following months.
Our Choices program started when we realized a lot of our Hammertown customers came to me for advice on local services. From restaurants to hair stylists to plumbers, many ask for my recommendations.
So we thought, why not apply this to the website and include a section on our website where local businesses whom we already know and trust could appear. 
They would, in essence, already have the “Hammertown Seal of Approval” and would be included by invitation only.
These “Choices” could then take advantage of our existing audience and advertise (at a minimal fee) and more importantly, would become a part of the hammertown.com community.
At Hammertown we have always felt that the key to keeping the local commerce vibrant is to join together with other responsible, high quality retailers to help each other thrive.
That’s how Joan’s Choices started and it’s how we continue to support each other in our local economy.
