I am a very particular person in regard to design. When it comes to picking frames, I am VERY PARTICULAR. I usually have a hard time even finding frames to choose from, yet at Gilded Moon, I always find several frames that are different, attractive and traditional with a contemporary edge… more so than any other framing shop I have ever been to.

With so many choices and decisions to make, it’s wonderful to have Jill Choma, one of Gilded Moon’s owners, there to help lead you in the right direction. And, I (Ms. Particular!) loved the direction she led me. I really couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of their framing or more impressed with their level of professionalism.

For example, the last time I was at Gilded Moon, I saw a magnificent oil painting they had just finished framing for a customer using the most incredible silver molding. The frame with the molding absolutely brought this large painting to life. It was amazing…definitely what I would call “museum quality”. Their tagline, “Our Art is Framing Your Art”, seemed especially apropos in that moment!

We are so lucky to have this world class framing gallery right in Millerton. A fine shop that has the ability to frame high end, expensive art shown in galleries, New York apartments, and country estates, yet also offers services for simple, less costly framing. No matter what your budget, you know you are getting the best archival work that will last and stand the test of time.

My personal testament: I could not be happier with the framing of my dog portraits, grandchildren and vintage oil paintings that I have brought to them over the years.
