Celebrating ‘Musical Diversity’
in the Berkshires,
the Litchfield Hills,
and the Mid-Hudson Valley

WKZE is one of the few independent radio stations left in our region. Currently radio conglomerates like Clear Channel and Cumulous Media own about 1,500 stations across the country leading to generic programming, a limited selection of artists and repetitious playlists…and sometimes even politically skewed content. Big media conglomerates have bought up 100′s of local stations yet they are unable to serve local communities the way an independent station like KZE can. That’s why I’m proud to advertise on their station and it’s why I play it in the store. The music is varied and interesting– featuring many independent artists you’d never hear on any other station in our area.

I’m also very fortunate to have Paul Higgins as my advertising account manager. For those of you who say you love my ads on WKZE, you can thank Paul for not only helping me write my commercials but for encouraging me to be my own voice on radio as well.

By advertising on and listening to KZE, I feel like we’re supporting their spirit of independence and at the same time we’re putting money back into our community.

Keep up the good fight KZE… we’ll be listening!
