Spotlight 2011, a fund raiser to benefit TriArts Sharon Playhouse will be held on Saturday, May 28th from 5:30 to 8:00pm at the Salisbury School Boathouse.

Spotlight 2011 will feature cocktails, hors d’ouevres, music by Artistic Directors Michael Berkeley and John Simpkins and friends, and a live and silent auction.
The Salisbury School Boathouse, which overlooks Twin Lakes is again the site for the TriArts spring fund raiser. Carol Kalikow and Lola White are co-chairs of Spotlight 2011, ably assisted by Mimi Estes, Alex Lange, and host of other dedicated supporters of TriArts. They have put together an exciting array of items for the live and silent auction and have a number of surprises in store. Items to bid on include house seats for the critically acclaimed (and sold-out) production of War Horse at Lincoln Center, vacation homes in Vero Beach, Nantucket and the Caribbean, tickets to see Joan Rivers at the Mahaiwe including a meet and greet with her after the show. Opera tickets, theatre tickets, concert tickets, US Open and baseball tickets are all available to bid on, along with dining certificates at many of the area’s fine restaurants. Said Ms. Kalikow, “Here’s your chance to come to a fabulous party, support your local theatre and bid in an auction with items that range from the sublime to the downright creative, at a variety of prices to suit all.” Spotlight 2010 was voted one of the year’s top 15 parties by Rural Intelligence.
The ticket is $125 per person and reservations can be made by calling 860-364-SHOW (7469). “We can’t think of a better way to kick off the summer season than with this event at the fabulous Salisbury School Boathouse over Memorial Day Weekend”, said co-chair Lola White.
