One of the many reasons I love Tim’s work is in his clever details. Each one-of-a-kind piece is made with such care and originality it’s like buying a wonderful piece of art.
Tim comes from a long line of blacksmiths. In fact, seven generations of them starting in the early 1800’s with his Great Great Grandfather, George Wurster, who owned the Attlebury Blacksmith Shop just south of Pine Plains. Now Stissing Design, also in Pine Plains, takes up the mantle but now adds an artistic finesse that George Wurster would be proud of.
